The sandstone block near Tayma split by a fissure as straight as a rule, its two halves standing on worn pedestals, desert varnish and a pecked ibex on the face.
About six metres high and nine wide, in Saudi Arabia. How the split formed is still debated, which is part of its pull.
The canvas: matte, fade-resistant canvas stretched over a 0.75 in wooden frame, ready to hang. The artwork stays on the front; the dark ground wraps the edges.
Made to order just for you.
